SL FINANCIAL participate in actuarial research by joining the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) Flood Insurance Working Group (FIWG). The work-product of the FIWG, the Monograph, will be published in 2017 with primary purpose to inform the taxpaying public, federal and state policymakers and regulators, actuaries, agents, and other insurance professionals about the NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program) so that they may participate in and contribute to the public debate with a comprehensive, financial frame of reference.
