SL FINANCIAL attended the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) 2016 Industry Conference. This was the opportunity for SL FINANCIAL to reinforce his stature as leading provider of actuarial consulting services fully dedicated to the Florida insurance marketplace. The key areas of focus included:

  • Building working relationships with FLOIR staff
  • Enhancing knowledge in areas of rate & form filing using online system
  • Getting familiar with catastrophe reporting requirements (CRF and CEDRA)
  • Getting familiar with latest updates of the Florida’s public hurricane model
  • Discussing with FLOIR on range of issue e.g. solvency monitoring, financial oversight, market regulation and 2017 legislative initiatives
